Marleen in Maastricht

Hi,

My name is Marleen, I am 21 years old and I am studying International Hospitality Management at Stenden University Leeuwarden. Currently I am doing my ten months internship in order to graduate. Thanks to YoungProfs, I found my internship.

I actively searched for an internship with a lot of responsibilities and freedom, combined with some aspects of event management and sales and marketing. Through the Mise en Place Group I found YoungProfs and they still had an open vacancy at their head quarter in Maastricht.

My internship consist of keeping the website up to date, doing intake interviews with potential candidates, the promotion of YoungProfs, staying in touch with student associations and organizing events for the YoungProfs Board and the YoungProfs Awards. This gives me variety in my job and new experiences and challenges.

My internship was arranged with professional services provided by YoungProfs. I had a warm welcome when I arrived at the organisation and everything was clearly explained to me. They helped me get to know my colleagues and gave me tips and tours in Maastricht and its surrounding area.

To conclude, I would recommend to everyone to arrange their internship via YoungProfs or at a YoungProf office, it is a great experience.
