Why I choose YoungProfs

Hi!

My name is Tom, YoungProfs found me a suitable placement at a consultancy firm in Johannesburg – South Africa.

When I arrived I received  a warm welcome at the airport. On the way to my accommodation, I was told much information about the city and country. When I arrived at my room, an information package designed for me, was waiting. This information package contained relevant information regarding different sport facilities, car rentals and fun things to do within the city/country. In addition to that they organised a “braai” for me so that I could meet my colleagues. This helped me to build friendships quickly and thus a social life.

I have been here for 1.5 weeks but because of YoungProfs, it feels as though I have been living here for 1.5 years. I participate in two sport teams, I have visited the famous Kruger National Park and have spent many fun evenings in the local eating establishments.  

My work is enjoyable, it is just what I expected.  I get a lot of responsibility regarding different projects and I get to participate in management discussions, which is a great learning experience.

I am so grateful for to YoungProfs and their input as through their network and commitment they provided me with opportunities I myself could never explore.
