The Organization

The European Party Caterer Association (EPCAS) is an organization founded on January 23, 2007. It is the first international organization dedicated to party caterers. EPCAS provides a platform for exclusive party caterers, while sharing knowledge and experience and together look for solutions to universal problems is central. It ensures transparency and EPCAS certain things (different rules), eventually called into question within the national and European political institutions.
 

Members of the European Association Party Caterer come together twice a year: in January in Maastricht and in July at one of the members in Europe. During the meeting in January is about gaining knowledge and in particular to define strategies for the future of EPCAS. During the summer meeting, however, is to exchange knowledge and experiences first.
 

EPCAS organizes once a year EPCAS the conference, which is accessible to all European caterers. At this congress, that the time-catering BBB fair in Maastricht, renowned speakers from all over Europe are invited.

 

What does EPCAS offer you?
 As an intern in this position you will get many opportunities to develop yourself and you come into contact with various projects. You get your own responsibilities and you are part of a young and flexible team. Development is our main concern: the development of EPCAS as well as the development of our team. 

 

Function Description
As a trainee at the European Party Caterer Association you are responsible for running the association. This involves organizing a two-day conference for European Caterers in January 2012 and while executing the winter meeting of the members (plus minus 40 European Caterers) will be organized.

  • Preparation and mailing letters and invitations
  • Contact with members EPCAS
  • Attend board meetings EPCAS
  • Organize the program EPCAS summer meeting, EPCAS winter meeting and the conference EPCAS
  • Maintain contact with various affiliated industry associations and networking platforms
  • Capture and monitor catering, rooms, AV, etc.
